The Applitite '4D' Process
1) Discovery
Before we begin, we discuss your project's potential to be sure the app solves a problem, and is in alignment with your company's business initiatives.
The Discovery phase is included as part of our regular development methodology, or is offered on it’s own as the 
Mobile Roadmap discovery workshop, a consulting program designed to identify and link your key business objectives to mobile solutions.
2) Design
First we create plain black and white screen mock-ups (wireframes) that focus on the apps functionality. We review these with you to confirm our understanding of the desired behavior. At Applitite we strive to create quality mobile apps that are intuitive, simple, and easy to use.
Next we work on color and font variations for the user interface, to determine 'look and feel'. We review the designs with you, to make sure your app looks beautiful, and appropriately expresses your brand.
Finally, we create all the screen mockups for your review, to confirm the expectations of the project.
3) Development
We employ an iterative approach. We develop a series of ad-hoc builds (test apps) that incrementally deliver functionality to the customer for their review and testing. These development milestones are critical to the app building process. It is important for the success of the project to obtain our customers feedback as part of the development lifecycle.
Included in this phase is also the design of the models, the internal data structures and/or databases the app will use. Here we also investigate and implement the best approach to load the data the application will need. Additionally, this is where we design, develop, test, any web services required for the application.
4) Delivery
During the delivery phase the apps are bundled and published to the Apple iTunes Store, The Android Market, and the Blackberry App World.
